I was just wondering what the best brew you have found around the Tyler area and how much it cost, since prohibition finally ended 6 months ago.

Haha I used to live in Tyler. Shouldn't you just be happy you can actually buy beer without driving to 45 min to Fat Dog? ;-)

I'm from Tyler and it is not a great beer town, that goes without saying.

Check out Fresh by Brookshire. It's their version of Central Market and is your best bet I think.

Brookshires is interesting to say the least in how they manage their craft selections. The one in Granbury once put Boulevard Smokestack beers ($11.99/4pk) in their mix-a-six section ($9.99/6pk).:astonished:

Needless to say, I cleaned them out of their Sixth Glass and Dark Truth.

yeah brookshires in tyler (rice rd) had rogue brown hazelnut for 4.00 dollars when they first started carrying it, while fresh had it for 5.75. took the liberty of cleaning them out on it and i don't ever really care for that one as much as other brews from rogue.
