Tyranena - Devil Over a Barrel

    After 6 long years it has made a return. We are sending an allocation to many of our wholesalers. However, there was only a total of 500 cases produced so it will be limited. I believe we only have a handful of cases (18) to sell here at the brewery.

    I had it on tap tonight and it is quite nice. The coffee has faded and the bourbon is very mellow since it is a 60/40 blend of BB back to the Devil Made Me Do It. Oh and there are now only 17 cases left at the brewer, courtesy of me.

    Are any of those cases going to make it to Indiana?

    Hoping my friend makes it out tomorrow to pick me up some or praying it lasts until Sunday. Since it is Tyranena and in the middle of nowhere, I am causiously optimistic! @Rio what was the price on a 4 pk?

    I was there tonight as well, having one on tap and picking up a case, probably crossed paths without knowing it..

    This is beautiful news. Back when the hordes were much smaller, I must have drunk at least a couple cases of this when it first came out. Hope some of it lands in the Twin Cities & thence to my fridge...I'll be on the lookout.

    For those unable to make it to the brewery, this should start rolling out to our wholesalers in WI, IL, & MN (unfortunately no IN) with their next pickups and hitting retail accounts thereafter, hopefully within a few weeks.

    Ah, I was there at 5:30. I had their Black IPA on tap which I thought was quite good. Wish I could've stayed to try the rye barrel stout as well.

    Missed this last time but DMMDI is one of our favorites so this sounds like Very Good Stuff! Unfortunately I'm traveling out of the country right now :slight_frown:, but if any Madison-area BA would be willing to pick me up a case I'd be very appreciative (and obviously pay for the case).

    Sounds really good. So it's not 100% barrel aged? Does the bourbon come out a lot or is it more coffee forward?
