Billings, Montana It's getting close. We are announcing our expected opening in late May 2012. The head brewer, Mark Hastings and I met every Monday for two years putting this plan together and it is about to pay off. Mark has a stellar record of GABF and World Beer Cup wins. He's also one of the most humble guys you could ever meet. Two years of tenacious planning effort and eight months of construction... I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT FIRST PINT!
We remodeled a building that was built in 1919 and served as the old bottling plant for the Billings Brewing Company. As we were tearing out the concrete floor we found a secret vault and a buried layer of glass bottles 2 feet thick that was probably created as they broke the bottles open during prohibition.
