Well hello thar! Good to be back. Though I hope the appearance returns to something more like the original site.

so is this the future does anyone know - UK lumped in with Europe, or just a temporary thing?

 

I asked in the "Feedback" section about this and was told that due to lack of activity, they were keeping Europe as one forum but breaking off separate forums was something they would consider doing in the future. I'll see if I can link that thread here.

Don't give up on the site until we see how it comes out after it's fully updated. They SAY that we will get back all our reviews and such, which is one of the main reasons I ever go here -- to read what you and a few others have to say about the beers they drink.

I think some UK B-A's (and fans of UK beers) should lobby.

 

I hope they'll pretty much recreate the other site on the new forum.

 

We'll just have to wait and see how the new site pans out I suppose: might even be allowed to have a European/Brit early evening pint thread instead of having to wait for the sun to go down on the US east coast before we can have a virtual bar and chat about the beers we're drinking.

I hope you don't mind my tagging along either! The forum used to be UK & Ireland and I had no problem with that. It remains to be seen how things pan out here.
