I wanted to break up the Europe forum sooner, but I've been too damn busy. More to follow ...

Cheers for this Todd- much appreciated. Now, if we can be allowed have our own LNBA thread, we'll be happy as clams! Good luck with the rest of the site restructure.

That would be nice the U.K. LNBA threads are a lot more interactive, friendly, inclusive and welcoming than the regular LNBA
Come on now horses for courses, I'm not dissing the official LNBA it's just not for a lot of us and there are a lot of none UK BA members that like and join in on the UK LNBA threads

Go on Todd give it a try and have a beer with us some time

Those sort of discussion threads work better with fewer people. One for everyone on the site i'd imagine involves people simply posting what they're drinking, then getting buried so response is hard to impossible.

I'm celebrating with a Punk. Will we have to give Scotland their own forum if they secede?

I didn't even post in the old forums for this area, being in California, but even I'm glad to see the breakup again, being American Irish. Europe is huge & diverse, in terms of culture, food, and especially beer. The UK & Ireland are also just as diverse, and imho, deserved their own forum sub-group. So cheers to the change, (or reversion I suppose) & Slainte!

So I pop off to NYC and Montreal for a long weekend - with a large emphasis on good beer, and I come back to find normality restored!

    Hurrah !

Picked off 40 (all new to me barring a handful) American brews and a dozen Canadians

No real duds in there, although I was keeping my eyes out for BA top USA 100's whilst in NYC

Sampled 3 (a lot are Mountain/West coast breweries) , 2 I found pretty average/ok - Stone Imperial Stout and Ballast Point Sculpin IPA, the other (which I have had before) Troegs Nugget Nectar was worthy of it's place!

This week I will be mostly drying out (London drinker BF on Thursday maybe?), although ten bottles from assorted Quebec micro-breweries made it back safely in my case :stuck_out_tongue:

I don't know if those LNUKBA threads will be allowed, but you could always do them in a "Conversation" now, though you would need to keep adding participants. Just thinking out loud here.
