Had an Oakham Bishop's Farewell earlier, and am now sipping on a Struise Shark Pants. Bit old, but OK (hops have faded though).

Had to pop into Timperley to organise my University stuff so stooped at the Quarry Bank
for a quick pint of Hyde's Owd Oak Dark Mild on cask.

I just can't seem to get enough of the Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout. It beats the pants off of the Rogue brews.

Total dreck, poured most of it away. Looks like I'll swerve their Wild Oat stout too.

Life is too short to drink bad beer.

In all fairness the wild oat stout is competent if a little on the dull side.

TSA are rather rubbish and they seem to take up half of Lidl's beer space up here. William Wallace is another of theirs to avoid - the first sip it seems ok but it falls off a cliff after that. Their stout is the best of the lot

Saturday night and it's quieter on here than a Helen Keller a cappella sing party!

    Bottle of Wentworth's Woppa

    I must hate myself
I've opened & poured this "Buddy's Bourbon Flavored* Beer" bollocks
instead of flying over the Atlantic and shoving it up the arse of the chief exec of Molson Coors
(* that US spelling sent me a curveball and lead me throwing away £1.79)

Bourbon flavoured beer? Euuurgh. That's not as good as bourbon, and not as good as beer. Why, just whyyy?

The vegan beer festival was okay. Ate no food and happily donated nothing to Sea Shepherd. Drank Five Points Pale Ale, Moor Nor'Hop and Radiance (RYPA wasn't on :slight_frown: ), Marble Earl Grey IPA and some other one I forgot but wasn't very good.

Why doesn't bourbon flavoured beer taste at all like bourbons?
I foresee a garibaldi flavoured old ale or a Tunnocks tea cake flavoured scotch ale.

Last night it was Tesco's American DIPA. I really enjoy this and I like it doesn't cost me as much as ordering Kernal/Stone/many others online. Wish this would go on sale and then I would buy the lot.

Belvoir Brewery for the third time in a week!
Totally against the trend of pub closure , they opened one (The Sample Cellar) next to the brewery and it has been extremely successful despite being away from habitation. As you would expect from a brewery tap the beer is always served to perfection , always a mild available so that's what I had.Totally gorgeous , wish I hadn't been driving yesterday afternoon!

I''ve NEVER been to a wedding reception where there was a decent choice if beer. Apart from mine of course.
