Back to the Belvoir Brewery;in these days of pub closures here's a new pub which is buzzing even though right out in the sticks

compared to the 89p & 50p that I've been paying for bottles of beer
the £2.99 for the Tripel Karmeliet is big money lol
let's see if it was worth it

Don't believe I've had that one. Was it aged on smoked sausage or did you Randall it?

    Also Tripel Karmeliet is fantastic.....

Had a Wainwright earlier; now on Iron Maiden's Trooper. Disappointingly middle of the road.....

Had the ordinary version of Southville, well nice. Had a couple of Arbor's cask pale ales and found them wanting sadly. Their Deeper Down DIPA would have been very good if it hadn't been so murky. Their big dark numbers have hit the mark with this drinker though.

Had a Partizan 5 grain porter. 'Saalright.

The oak aged version was fantastic. Take a quality hoppy ale and add an extra layer of character to it. Regrettably I believe it was produced in very limited amount....

Currently on a Fosters Radler. GOOD CALL

Arbor Ales tap takeover in the Toon starting Thursday including the Dark Alliance collab job. Might make that particular beer the last of the night, after the Goo Goo G'Joob maple stout

Lets be honest, I'll probably be so scuppered by the end of the night that Aye's Excellent Inebriated CockedAles will appear.
    Imperial maple coffee stout anyone?

I can just taste not tasting it lol
ie when UK brewers add these elements usually its horribly insipid and the flavours not present
I don't know if it's the because our beers are a lot lower alcohol strength
or the way it is bottled but we just don't seem to do "big taste" beers :/

Drinking a high-quality Quadruple out of a pint glass, and waiting for Bacchus or Dionysus or whatever-the-fuck-entity to strike me down.

Yes, the beer is pretty poor but the cider is surprisingly good
