Unexpected couple of pound so little beer shopping trip
made use of the six for five at Marks and Sparks
kept it reasonably sane in the spec shop in Alty
couple of dark Belgian beers and
FELL FOR HYPE ALERT bought tiny bottle of BD's Watt Dickie

 

Well it's still my "weekend" Lets give this Wye Valley Hereford Pale Ale a poke

 

My weekend needs a beer highlight and here it is Cheshire Brewhouse Georges Nectar

 

I swear that Wee Heavy punches well above it's abv weight

 

As it is still regular week for my son making this my last ale tonight

M and S Halletau Golden ale
Single variety hop and again a full pint bottle.

The Cascade in the range I had last night
had a bit of a honey taste, this too.

 

Right lets see if and how this M and S Citra brewed by Oakham
differs from Citra by Oakham

 

De Molen's Hamer and Sikkel Dark Ale
Like communism better in theory (aroma)
than practice (taste)

 

Old Tom Chocolate
This is what I expected from the Belgian cookie beer.

I do though have a bottle of Adnams Southwold 2.7 from M&S
low abv but still a lot of flavour
and I don't have to worry about having a clear head in the morning
