Founders Rübæus, Founder's All Day IPA and some Odell IPA tonight. Thai Curry night at my friends! Thought they'd pair well and the Rübæus is just because :stuck_out_tongue:

Sam, you have come out of nowhere and are striking when the iron is pretty damned hot. Nice one. Quality beers choices there.
Me, I'm off to The Hanging Bat for a range of crafty hipsterish Scottish and English brews. The Bow Bar will follow even if the posse resists. Followed by some single malts of course.

Cheers mate! Just a few enjoyable summer brews with a curry

That sounds good to me, nothing wrong with a few single malts either. Off to the Kernal brewery next weekend, so I'm sure to have a few of their decent brews!

I bet the Rio de Ja Beer-o is better than the Green King World beer I could see skunking up in it's clear bottle in Tesco

I think I'll wait till the World cup is over and see if it hits the reduced shelves.

Ended up starting with an Adnams Spindrift and a Meantime London Lager before the ones earlier. Drinking a spirit of broadside now instead of the single malt. Have a good weekend all!

To the Unicorn's Head at Langar and tried Timothy Taylor's Landlord. Always a good indicator of how a pub keeps its beer, this was served on gravity and was superb and crisp , just as it ought to be.
Next I tried Abbeydale's Deception , pleasant enough, followed by York brewery's Centurion Ghost Ale which was more to my liking.
Didn't realise until later that all three were from Yorkshire. Nothing wrong with Yorkshire, I even have the phrase book.

    I really liked the megablend
some one bought a bomber of it for our table at my birthday bash and the taste was a little too robust for all but myself and the buyer.

I've caved in and bought a bottle of Cantillon Geuze.

was trying to get ticket for American bottled beer night but sold out so spent ticket money on copple of big money bombers, this and Bruery Rugbrod

Yeah it was really good the sourness was just spot on for me.
And that's a shame, but at least you can create your own (with blackjack, and hookers!)

Sharp's Single brew It's good but's it's not quite right
Great aroma, nice citrus taste but it lacks depth and has a flimsy mouthfeel
