Didnt get that job so throwing all given fucks to the wind with Wiper and True Milk Shake milk stout (minor lactose intolerance so anyone within 10ft of me tomorrow should be in for a treat).

They've changed their pricing on bottles now so you pay "corkage" if you sit in. Same price inside but works out great for a kerry oot.

They've installed nitro lines in all their pubs and milk stout has been really popular so can see that happening.

Actually came in to say how good Aberdeen is.
Had a bottle of KBS in CASC, Oskar Blues Ten Fidy & Siren Carribean Cocolate Cake on tap in the new Brewdog and a 2013 Cantillon Gueze in 6degrees North.

Also an IP trade on the train home, got a can of Tennents for a can of Evil Twin Molotov Lite. My trade buddy seemed to enjoy his can as much as I did!

    Struise Pannepot Grand Reserva 2010
    Anchor Xmas Ale 2015

Spent a nice afternoon at the local Dawkins brewery taphouse drinking and chatting with the owner, Glen :

Chocadee - double chocolate milk stout
Ho Ho Ho - dark rum porter
Foresters Black - lightly smoked oat milk stout
Colonial IPA - traditional English IPA
El Dorado - golden single hopped beer

Really enjoyed the Colonial as I don't drink a lot of this type nowadays. Picked up a bottle of their great barley wine Albion Vintage 2014 as well. Great to see the move about 20 mins from me in Bristol. Lots of plans in the pipeline for the New Year.

Went to Brewbot last night for some pre Christmas drinks.
Northern Monk - New World IPA
    Mikkeller - Hoppy Lovin' Christmas
    Stone IPA
Northern Monk - Festive Spiced Porter
    Buxton - Rain Shadow
    Buxton - The Living End
It was a great night, now if work would just hurry up and finished....

Grabbed the last of the beers for the festivities and took my friend Stu for a pint for his birthday
He had really bad news last year so needed cheering up
tried to get him in a good Manchester pub
he wanted to try Dusk till Pawn, a secret bar disguised as a pawn broker but it was really a cocktail place
    not a single draught beer
we went to Marble but the wine bar brigade was taking up every seat
so I took him to a once a brilliant spit and sawdust Biker pub & real ale venue
The Angel is now gentrified to fuck

That's a really weird competition. Business card? Conversely, I went for a pint with my dad today in the nearest pub to us, the Bricklayers Arms, a proper old fashioned pub, no food served here, just people in for a lunch time pint. Only had GK IPA but it was pretty nice actually, not a huge amount of taste but decent enough for sessioning if you wanted. Good to have a pint with the old man too, from my memory we've only gone out and done it once before.

What constitutes a business card? Could I just write my name, address and "This is my business" on a scrap of paper? Or does it have to be professionally made?

Had my first regular JW Lees Harvest Ale today and it totally lived up to the hype. From the bottle it feels like it's come straight from the cask.

Starting the Xmas day drinks with Celt Experience Goddess of the Spring strawberry saison. It's really rather good.
Also myherpes admitted to Northern Monk finally that they broke my Opeth stout, so NM overnighted me replacements (via APC). Saving it for a while though.
