Had another Dorée and a Tripel tonight. I guess there are better but they're all solid drinks.

Pint of homebrew stout followed ambitiously by a Fullers Golden Pride. It's actually a really nice barley wine, such good value.

Batemans 2013 Vintage Ale wasn't everything I hoped for.

Hope you all had a good festive period

My drinking consisted of some bottled Tomos Watkins, Conwy brewery, Fullers and canned Rev James. Am now home after a long drive and supping some homebrew

I'm still sitting on a 2012, if it's gash I'll wait for the Batemans price hike and cash in instead of being disappointed.

Had the 2015 jw lees harvest ale last night. Was slightly disappointed with it fresh. Had a 2008 last year which was pretty damn good.

Had a couple of I&G beers to see if I still dislike them. The American oak pale ale had that same anoyingly sweet middle all their beers have, finally got round to trying the Toasted Oak IPA and it's probably the best beer of theirs I have had, although that's not saying much. There's enough bitterness to hold the cloying sweetness at bay in this one, the nose is pretty poor though

Finished work yesterday & went home via Didsbury 'Spoons because me Julie was meeting a friend
Had a pint of the Stone Amber brewed at Adnams which was really impressive just a fantastic
supremely balanced, great malt profile, red fruit then intense bitterness
then half (did have work today) of Mobberley Mango IPA, really fruity, even Julie (whose fave fruit is Mango) liked it.
We just missed the bus so whilst Julie grabbed things from Masks & Sparks
I had half of Bank's Sunbeam(had it before in bottle) cask was light & lemony and just a shame was winter
Then today I must have picked a bottle out at Beermoth extra quick
so wanting to be closer to Piccadilly Garden so had half of Driftwood(Canadian brewer) Pale Ale rustled up at Banks

Had plenty of Gavi with dinner and Graham's LBV for dinner. I don't want to mix the grape and grain, but the beers, they're calling to me...

I guess so, maybe more than unflavoured creosote lol
I finished it, I'd say give it a go but I wouldn't buy it or the other variants of Brandy cask aged or Cider barrel aged
(Perhaps I got this one mislabelled)

    Wiper and True Plum Pudding
    De Ranke Noir de Dottignies
Innis and Gunn White Oak Wheat Beer

De Ranke very nice strong ale, Tokyo good sipper for Xmas but overpriced, W and T exactly as the name says and another hit from them. I and G white oak wheat beer with bergamot and blood orange, nothin really goin on with it, least favourite.
