    I had a scout round for the 2016 kbs today. Hasn't hit round here yet but plenty of 2015 bottles left. Passed as for £7.50 I want the fresher version. I got 2 bottles of 2015 last year and definitely preferred the first one, a year aged was not so good.

    Cracked open my bottle of goose island bourbon county brand stout I bought in America last year instead. Remarkable.

    North Coast - Old Rasputin Imperial Stout, on another night it would've been superb, but for KBS and..
    Buxton - The Living End Bourbon Aged Stout, easily as good as the KBS (cheaper and 11%) WOW!!!

    Definitely a great trip to Valhalla's Goat, there are other great beer shops in Glasgow, but this is my favourite.

    DogSpew Elvis Juice, grapefruity on the nose, def GF bite in the mouth. Not bad but I wont rush to buy another.

    That used to hit the shelves here every so often. The vanilla too at one point. Shame I haven't seen any in a while.

    No but they had 2015 printed on the front. One of the shops was where I got it from last year so I've just dug out my empty bottle of it and it says bbd 12/02/16.

    Lincoln beer fest yesterday. Everything was on the turn, almost certainly because it was swelteringly hot in the main hall. Warm flat headless groggy ale, enough to put a newby off for life.
