Uncle Jacob's Availability

    I heard that Avery Uncle Jacob's was most likely hitting Colorado shops this week. Anyone seen bottles on shelves yet? I didn't go to the release and I've been dying to try some.

    I have not seen it and I've heard it's not going to hit the shelves, which I hope is incorrect information.

    I have confidence that you will start to see Uncle Jacobs beginning to hit select shops this week. As for if it will be placed on a respective shops shelves, you might want to befriend an employee who knows their policies better than I do.

    It's at all stores today but you have to ask for it and say that uncle jacob sent you. If you don't say it they'll pretend they don't have any.

    It will definitely be hitting shelves this week. I'm guessing it will be pretty widespread since there were ~16,000bottles. Typically the barrel releases are divied out by Avery themselves. But I think this one is going through CRGoodman. So whichever day your store gets their CR drop, it should be on that truck. I was told Thurs or Fri for me.

    i heard it's still being distributed through Avery directly. either way my regular stores are sick of me dropping in and bugging them about it.

    Went to ten stores, let them know Uncle Jacob sent me, and they still pretended not to have any :-(

    Same. Also tried Aunt Mildred, ended up with a cart full of boxed wine.

    latest word is it's hitting shelves tomorrow at larger stores only, ie davidsons, argonauts etc.

    and yet another update, get out and buy some. just scored two bottles at cornerstar in south aurora by the chinese theater. they didn't have a bottle limit on it at the time either.

    Superior liquors had 108 bottles when I was there this afternoon. They had 102 when I left, and no bottle limit.
