Im stoked for this release. Anyone going tonight? All my buddies flaked so I'll be going stag. Woe is me.

I'm bringing a four pack of Founders goodies, but nothing too special. I'll be the bearded guy in a Texas A&M'S hat if anyone is interested.

Anyone know when this will be released outside of the brewery? Can't make it to Boulder tonight.

A guy sits at a bar and says "Hey bartender, I know a great Aggie joke. You want to hear it?"

The bartender says, "Before you tell it - I should probably tell you that I went to A&M. And you see those two big guys sitting next to you -- they were linebackers for A&M's football team. And those two -- they're Marines, and they used to be in the Corps of Cadets at A&M.

So your call.... are you sure you really want to tell that Aggie joke?"

The guy thinks for a second. "I guess not," he said. "I wouldn't want to have to explain it five times."

5/10. At least it didn't involve sheep.

Picked some up and am enjoying one right now. Really tasty. Just when I thought I was done with stouts until this fall, they pull me back in...

I wanted to make this but had to work late, missed some Cantillon in the area too, bummer!

You might still be able to grab some. I think it was a pretty large release. Maybe they'll still be selling it tomorrow too?

I think we chatted a bit!

My friend brought some KBS to try with Jacobs, I liked the Avery beer much, much better.

I feel your pain on that. I'm hoping some might make it to Lukas so I'm going to wait and see before I start seeking out trades.

It should hit distribution with 700 cases produced.

I missed the Avery release but did hit up the cantillon release at Lukas. There were only four people there including myself so all of us got two bottles each of the geuze and I think 3 of us got a bottle of LP. This is the first release I've been to at Lukas and it blew me away how everyone was so laid back and didn't try and buy them all up since it was first come first serve with no limits. Met Nick, their beer buyer for this first time; really cool guy.

All their beer guys are awesome. By far one of my favorite places.

What makes it better is this will be a seasonal so even when the stores run out, it'll be back next year.

Thank God. coreymcafee and I cracked one at the release...oh baby. It was unbelievable. So many great flavors, and almost no heat fresh - at 17%!! This beer will quickly become legendary. And it seemed like they still had a ton, so I imagine this one will hit shelves for those of u unable to make the release. So nice to have an annual beer of this caliber that instantly is annual and likely will be obtainable for the masses. Cheers Avery!!!
