Underrated seasonals

I grabbed six of these last week, my first foray into Naragansett. Very good at a great price.

 

Yeah, I picked up the BA 3 pack. Yeti is the only one I haven't drank yet. I thought the BA hibernation was incredible and the old ruffian I remember liking. I think $30 for all 3 and the glass isn't too bad, but the bomber prices were crazy.

 

They released it a little while ago. It was on store shelves here. They were 12 oz bottles, but I still thought it was a good deal.

 

SN Celebration. Oh I'm sorry I thought the thread title was OVERrated seasonals.

A local choice would be Sly Fox Oktoberfest, it's a top O-fest for me but year after year it flies under the radar.

 

How is ten fidy underrated?

 

This. I always look forward to this release. Great value too.

Since most of my favourite seasonals have already been mentioned, I will go with Samuel Smith Winter Welcome.

 

I constantly see people saying rasputin and narwhal are better beers than ten fidy. That's how.

Sierra Nevada Rye IPA (still making? RIP?)

 

hard for me think of backwoods as underrated. by far my favorite of the barrel-aged series. great fall/winter beer.

 

I only bought one last year and may need to buy a case this year. Phenomenal beer.

 

Sam Adams Oktoberfest

 

haven't purchased any regular yet this year, but my local shop did get BA xocoveza so I picked one up. never had it before.

 

Yeah you’re right underrated isn’t the right choice. Iet me rephrase as it doesn’t fly off the shelves/become impossible to find compared to how good it is. Which means more for me

 

I guess it depends on where you live. In the Bay Area or SoCal, this would sell out within a week or two and I wouldn't see it again. Up in Northern California, I still see some of last year's Xocovesa on shelves at local shops.
