Positive news to share regarding the new location. They provide regular updates on Instagram updates linked to their site. They settled on a menu and installed their smoker. They are currently on track to open in January, 2020.

No decision has been made on whether to have both places open to the public, or whether it will be kept as a production only spot. Glad to see some of the permit hiccups were resolved to their satisfaction. Their new location will be a lot closer for me to get to so I'm stoked.

Where is the new location? They have it tagged as the YMCA in Niles.

It’s on Gross Point Road, or slightly northwest of the YMCA located on Touhy.

Yes. Line of about 30 at opening. Did not stay for any pours. Was 10th in line took 15 minutes to get my beers.

I'm glad they decided to release more bottles on Saturday. I was in line on Wednesday, and was confused with their decision to do 2 bottles/person, with only 50 bottles originally available.

I got my allotment, and a pour of the BA Zacaton, which I enjoyed quite a bit. I felt the barrel presence was a little muted - I'm not sure how long this batch was in barrels, but I think it should've been in a bit longer.

I snagged a bottle of the Le Grand Monde 2019-3.1 as well, which never seems to be available when I go, so that was a nice treat.

I feel like a majority of their BA stouts I've tried lack barrel completely and thus skew on the sweet side. Would love to hear how long they age their beers for.

Le grand monde 3.1 is one of the best fruited sours in the city if not the country. Straight peach cobbler

Sounds like a pastry sour... if it tastes like a dessert I'm not sure that is a representation of the sour style....

Agree, a friend of mine was in town 2 weekends back and we went there Saturday to check out the BA Peanut Butter Cup. I figured I'd get a bottle of that (which was pretty good), but after trying that and the peach sour, we each got a bottle of the 19-3.1 instead.

Edit: to @HouseofWortship 's question, it is still a fairly sour beer, but has the peach cobbler elements working well with it.

I didn’t find the peach cobbler sour to be sweet at all. Just great sour peach with some graham cracker crust. I would not call it pastry
