Great news, Unibroue is apparently coming out with a new series called Autres Choses (Other Things) named after, well, people asking them for other things hehe. There will be 4 new products releasing in May/June including an IPA and a Pilsner. They certainly have the resources to produce great beers on a large scale, and the fact that they didn't jump the gun by releasing an IPA is pretty exciting!
Maybe a barrel aging program someday.... I know there were some at a festival last year but hopefully more widespread at somepoint?
I'm not sure whether to be scared or curious about a Unibroue IPA. I think it could go horribly wrong if they used house yeast in that. I would like to see them try perhaps a barleywine or an old ale. That is more their wheelhouse I think.
Well, the last "À tout le monde" was a nice brew, crisp and hoppy, yes it could have been more hoppy but they stayed somewhere everyone could like it. I would love seeing them go elsewhere. Some originality is quite missing at Unibroue. Let's see!
