I really love Unibroue. I am curious to know about their distribution in the United States. Can it be widely found nationwide?

It's in Kansas and Missouri. So that's two states.

They seem to have a fairly wide distribution in the US (every state I've been to I've seen a bunch of their stuff on shelves).

I've got lots of it cellared just because it's so widely available here in Washington state, I can find it at most grocery stores.

Damn. Not sure how I missed that. Sloppy research. My apologies.

Looks like Washington is the only western state that gets it. It isn't available in Texas either. Interesting.

    We get it in Virginia...

This almost makes me feel better that we don't get anything distributed by Shelton Brothers. Almost.

I seriously do love what they do. Really good high-ABV Belgian-style beers at killer prices.

    A quick internet search lists the following states that sell Unibroue "La Fin Du Monde" as of 3/22/12;

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin

I'm not sure about their other offerings but "BigHeavy" can buy Unibroue in Kansas so it looks like it has an even wider range than this.

    Cheers!

I seriously do too. I don't care about the ABV so much, but they're all solid beers. I'd be downright depressed if I couldn't walk down the street whenever I wanted to and pick up a La Fin Du Monde. I also stumbled on a 17 Grande Reserve the other day, looking forward to popping that one open.

I can find it just about anyplace in New Hampshire...even in the supermarkets.

Yeah, they're certainly a great brewer from our brothers to the north.

It most definitely gets distributed to Dallas, Texas. We get a lot of their beers and they are widely available in craft beer heavy stores to heavily weighted liquor stores.

It's not really about the high-gravity nature for me either, but I can't help but notice that most of their beers hover around 9%, but are very easy to drink.

I can find them anywhere in California, but the best I've seen is $7.50 for a La Fin du Monde at Trader Joe's.

I don't have too much trouble finding any of their brews here in New Mexico, can even find it in supermarkets.

I have always thought that Unibroue does belgian style Abbey/Trappistes beer far better than any other North American brewer (including both Allagash and Ommegang).

La Terrible is an incredible beer (along with the more widely praised Fin Du Monde & Trois Pistoles), always in my cellar.

Over time you will also learn to notice the distinct flavor of their yeast profile, it can get pretty easy to pick Unibroue out of a line up!
