This is a far stretch, as I doubt anyone has aged this, but has anyone had any experience with this aged? I just discovered a 2002 bottle in my cellar and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

We quite recently did this with an '02 (man, that was a weird tasting...) -- it's good both ways, but very, very different. I'm honestly not sure which one I preferred. The warm one was like spiced cider and the cold one was like cough syrup (but in a good way!).

OP: definitely still worth drinking, and I can't see it changing for the better at this point. I say drink it.

Never ask, just open and drink.

It's still holding up pretty well; got 3 left in my cellar, and they're gonna stay there for a while. Definitely mull it for drinking though, the warming process really opens it up. Drank cold or room temp does reveal some nice tartness, but it's lacking something, which the mulled version brings to the fore.
