I recently found a bevy of beer from '05 and '06 in my aging closet. The '05 is 6 beers out of the Saranac Christmas sampler, mostly stouts and ipas. The '06 is a pony keg of Buck's, that was given to my wife for college graduation. Jokes aside, is any of this still drinkable, should I use it for grilling, or toss it?

I'm no expert, but I have found a forgotten few, and been offered a few others in similar shape, including a twelve year old hb ale with no other provenance, and was recommended I just try them all. I did, and I will give you the same recommend. Since part of what you discovered you speak of as a bevy, which I know is a technical term, but if they are still good, you may have gotten really lucky and found somethings tasty.

The hb ale was a horror, but nothing in beer can really harm you.

Meant to say Beck's, but auto-correct made it Buck's. Thanks for the insight, I guess I'll have to crack them open and find out. I also found a 22 of Druid Fluid and Jubelale from the same time period.
