Glad I am not being a homer! Union is killing it, now for an imperial stout instead of barleywines

While I do love imperial stouts, I also love Chessie. I would change this to "now for an imperial stout in addition to barleywines"

Downtown Crown in Gaitherburg has about 6-8 cases in the front of the store when I was there the other day. $13.99 for a sixer. I like it better than the AV Gose, but torn between the AV Blood Orange Gose and Old Pro. Great beer.

Old Pro is the shizz! Just hope Dbl Duck is better than the last caramel forward batch I had...and that one was fresh. Just IMO though.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed in the last batch of DDP. The one before that was awesome though.

I will be in Baltimore this coming Monday and Tuesday. Where might I find this beer when I am in town?

Anyone coming to the jersey shore for memorial day weekend that could do an IP trade for some? I'm a gose fanatic.

Try the Wine Source, which ironically isn't that too far from the brewery itself.

    Does Union date their cans?

They date the box the six packs come in.

I was really confused how my pallate seemed to differ so strongly from everyone elses'. I bought a six of this stuff.

Tasted entirely different than whatever the hell I had on tap about a year ago from Union under the same name. It would be unfair of me to run my mouth without certainty. It would appear I ran into early batch variation, because I can't think of what else it could be. It was a watery mess with a hint of salt and the body of toothpick.

Delighted I took the time to try this again. This beer really showcases the more extreme styles of current Gose production.

not to hijack, but it looks like with the Savor events coming the shelves are getting loaded with goodies...

I might have saw one or two more of these at P St Whole Foods on the shelf this afternoon, but they just also got in a bunch of Double Duckpin for those who are fans.

Plus there are bunch of other great goodies too of late... good times
