Taking a quick trip to Universal next week with my 15-year old daughter. We are staying at Loews Royal Pacific, going to both parks. Looking for some tips for where I can grab some decent brew.

Are you looking for places in the parks or easily accessible but outside the parks?

I'm actually going here in a few weeks when I visit family in Florida.

At Universal Studios you can hit up the Duff Brewery and get the Dry. Its a stout made by a local brewery and decent. I understand at Daigon Alley the Witch's Brew is a sweet stout made by the same folks. Other than that I know we are doing lunch at Finnegan's and they have Crooked Can's IPA which is a decent enough local.

Beyond that I defer to the Florida folks who may have more insight.

I was just there. Sidewards is not close but I really liked. Nearby, half barrel is not much for ambiance but is friendly and has a great tap list.

redlight redlight is a world-class beer bar, and maybe the only world-class beer thing in the whole orlando area. it's an uber for sure, but highly recommended.

big river grill at disney's boardwalk is a brewery that makes beer on site. last time i went was a while ago, but at the time they had a former founders brewer there and at the time they had a rotating seasonal or 2 that were good. an option for if you don't leave the theme park area. and epcot of course.

Holy cow really? I was there two summers ago and it was Jai Alai or nothing everywhere I went (and many times not even that)
