Some of the Neapolitan is in barrels. Almost positive on Oaxacan too. Not sure about the barleywine.

On their IG there's a pic of barrels of barleywine as well.

If I understand correctly, the party starts at noon but the bottle release starts at 2. That's my interpretation though, don't take it as gospel. It's 9:30 on Friday and I already have FOMO.

this release was way better organized than the clusterfuck that was B1. pretty chill, pop in, get a number, wait. didn't mind the $10 entry as they had plenty set up for entertainment, kids, and $5 pours. great weather. BA hazelnut tasted great on tap.

Of course the "no limit" bit them in the ass and switched to 1 case limit fairly early on. people were routinely getting 2-3 cases, up to 8. that $1440 in beer. I foresee heavy trading.

Did they sell out of the 3,000 announced bottles yet?

Down to about 2 or 3 cases by roughly 5pm yesterday, that's as close as I can get you to right this second.

Welp, the UA/Angry Chair Gas Station Coffee Imperial Stout is really goddamn good.

Having never had gas station coffee, I wasn’t a big fan. Happy with the one can I bought. I’m just not cut out for all these pastries I guess.

Without reading through 150 or so posts...is it just me or are both the haze and the pastry stouts from these guys a bit lacking!?!? (I've had maybe a dozen titles combined.)

I haven't been super-enamored of the hoppy UA releases, other than Mango Milkshake. But Oaxacan (which others like more than I do, but it was good), Hazelnut, Pudding, Waffle, and oh man BA Hazelnut -- the stouts are good, more good than not. And Floridaweisse and the White Grapefruit Gose were real strong, too.

Yes, not so sweet compared to the other sugar bombs.

What's funny is that this beer feels very much like UA Black Stout with over-roasted coffee beans, and that Black Stout was weeeeeirdly sweet. The magic of coffee bitterness, man. Alchemy.

Yes. I agree with this sentiment. We are probably in the minority, though. I've been underwhelmed by the haze and the pastry stouts have all been way to sweet for my liking (but I get it, they are pastry stouts).

Very hit or miss. Most of their stouts are diabeetus, almond milk was gross, but hazelnut and especially BA hazelnut were great. Their haze has improved over time but again its not consistently great.

Any idea if Untitled Art beers are sold at the Kenosha Woodmans?

Educated guess, no. They don't distribute to Walworth County so I wouldn't think they'd make it to Kenosha either.

Yup. Grisette in the bargain section for $1 btw. Gas station is pretty scarce in MKE tho. Choco Van Maple is around still.
