The latest Zymurgy was in my mailbox yesterday. The ad for this book caught me eye. First I heard of it. I have high hopes for this one. Anyone else excited?
Will check the online Zymurgy to figure this out. Been on the road. OK, I see it is by Jennifer Tally, who brewed for many years at Squaters in SLC Utah. Due to the Utah laws, she knows Howe to brew beers of 4% and less. It is on my radar.
My favorite Utah draft beer (all draft beer here is 4% or less) is Squatter's Full Suspension, a pale ale. This beer is one of Jennifer Talley's creations. She left the state a few years ago. I'll have to get the book for at least sentimental reasons. She gave a talk on the subject at the NHC (now Homebrewcon) a few years ago. Cheers!
Thanks for the heads up @pweis909 . Perfect timing - I haven't really enjoyed many session beers until recently when I had some great PAs/IPAs out of Notch in Salem. Currently ironing out a recipe to hopefully clone their "Land Speed Record" beer.
