    Hey All,
In response to the questions above here are some answers:
    • We did have a glitch with our online store. We have a plugin to control inventory on items like extra bottles and for whatever reason it sold about 50 bottles over what it was set at. We feel really bad about over selling the bottles but they simply don't exist to be sold. We refunded the people who bought the extras latest, meaning the last people to buy the extras got the email.
    • Barrel Society beers will remain in the 750ml size as will the majority of our beers. Currently we are using the 375ml for very small barrel aged beer releases. Farmers duel was a blend of two oak barrels. Funk'd Citra was a single oak barrel. The idea being more bottles allows more people a chance to try it. It's a pain in the ass to bottle in 375 with our equipment so they will not become a regular format anytime soon.
    • The Pilsner is a small 7bbl batch. Its our first lager so we wanted to take our time and learn from this first batch. Then we will scale it up if people dig it. Canning is totally possible for the pilsner in the future. I am a big fan of the style and would love to have one in our lineup.
    • We have about 650 bottles of Farmers Duel for sale. Its tough to predict how long they will last. Our best guess is it will be around for a few days. We do a pretty good job of updating our On Tap page with what is in stock. So if you are curious if Farmer's Duel is still on the shelf you can find it there. http://www.nightshiftbrewing.com/on-tap/
    Cheers,
    Rob

We don't really have an official release calendar for our beers. For our barrel aged beers we let them tell us when they are ready and don't hold them to any particular time table. So its a bit tough to predict what we will have in September. We try to have at least one cool release per month of something funky, barrel aged, or sour but it doesn't always work out. In general we release 1-2 new draft only beers per week in the taproom so at the very least you will get to try something new and different. Cheers!

Thanks for the update, rob. Might have to send dear old Dad into the brewery to grab me some #28 if I can't make it down.

I was at the brewery last night, and it wasn't busy for the release. Maybe they went through a third of the stock? Art #28 was delicious.

Pretty slow night for us and @jbart you are pretty much dead on about remaining Art 28 bottles (~400 left). Should last till the weekend. Cheers.

Sorry about can obsession. Will any american DIPAs make it into a cans?

We don't have any immediate plans to can any DIPAs. This is largely due to our brewing system. Our tiny brew house is terrible at making higher gravity beers and combined with loads of hops in the kettle we net very little beer by the time it comes to packaging. We need to wait till our new brew house comes online before we can consider canning a DIPA.

I will leak out that other canned hoppy beers are in the works for August.

Dude i had the constable last weekend....holy crap was that good. My friends and I went back for seconds on that. Kicking myself for not getting a growler of that and the Havana.

Cucumbers really come through well, with perfect balance of mint in the Havana...most unique brew I've probably ever seen.

    Say it ain't so... :slight_frown:

Sadly, the Whirlpool batch destined for cans didn't meet our quality standards. Canning postponed till Aug 19.

We are super bummed about this. But after tasting the beer this morning we did not like how the beer has developed. We had an issue with the fermentation temperatures that resulted in some off flavors. Quality is top priority for us.

That being said. We are re-brewing a batch destined for cans. August 19th will be an exciting day as we will be canning Whirlpool AND an IPA. Doubling down on some canned goodness!

We also, have a bunch of exciting beer releases this week. Our collab IPA with Beer'd Brewing (insanely juicy IPA loaded with experimental & NZ hops and aged on pineapple & clementines) comes out Wednesday, a hoppy amberish IPA on Friday as well as a bottle release of a barrel aged sour Friday.

Hopefully that BA sour is a good consolation prize for missing farmers duel. Are there any bottles left? I'll be down tomorrow
