I will be flying into Salt Lake City in three weeks with an extra suitcase. From there, I will be driving up to:

    Jackson, Wyoming
    to
    Glacier/Whitefish, Montana
    to
    Coeur d'Alene Idaho.

Places I plan to stop at:

Red Rock (Hoping to get a bottle of Reve)
    Thai Me Up
    Snake River Brewing
    Blackfoot River brewing
    Selkirk Abbey
    Daft Badger

    Am I missing any?

    Thanks in advance.

Tamarack Brewing in Lakeside, MT. After Melvin it's my favorite stop on that list. You literally drive right by it on your way to Glacier from Missoula (although if you go
To Helena for Blackfoot you might drive a slightly different way).

Maybe Roadhouse in Jackson as well.

My advice would be to drive the back way up to Jackson especially if timing works out to go to the Melvin production Brewery and tasting room, views at the Brewery are gorgeous! Drive to Evanston and go north. Sometimes those two liquor stores in Evanston get random beer. They had 2015 BCBS (not infeceted) for months at $5 a bottle at the end. Anyways that will spit you out in Alpine and then drive along the Snake to Jackson. First hour or so is pretty uneventful but it's much more entertaining/beautiful than driving up 15.

Any other questions or recommendations feel free to shoot me a PM.

We've got a bombass selection right now. Snake river also. Have fun and be safe. Not sure on Roadhouse as both of the Head brewers went elsewhere. Bummer. Anyway enjoy your trip.

You can still get there very easily from Helena. Highway 200 will end in big fork then you can drive to Somers and go 6 miles down the west shore.

I was at Discount Liquor in Evanston Wy a couple months ago and they had several cases of Deschutes Reserve @ 13.50/bottle which is pretty damn good

    2015 Abyss
    2015 Stoic
    2014 Mirror Mirror
    Jubel
    Black Butte XXVII

They also usually have a nice selection of Avery.

Also, keep it 69 on those 65mph roads like 89 and 189...

Just go to Melvin in Alpine. That's the only stop you need. Nothing else compares.

Agreed on Snake River Brewing and Melvin. The brewery at Snake River in Jackson is super cool and well worth a visit. The food and atmosphere are as good as it gets, plan to have lunch or dinner or both there. The best bottle/ to go selection is at Bin 22, Elanors and Albertsons, all on Broadway. You can take take a short drive our Teton Pass into Driggs Idaho a visit Grand Teton Brewing as well. It's all beautiful country feel lucky to live here.

Get lots of Hubert along with Zonker stout while you're in that area- two of my favorites of all time.

It's not really that bad price wise. It's a resort town and a good meal in any resort town is gonna be more than 10 bucks a plate.

I wish I could take Mr. Fantastic home with me. That was outstanding. Really enjoyed Citradumas and Chuck Morris too. The potstickets were great. Seeing Yellowstone now and plan to stop back in at the bar tonight.
