As many of you have read, I have been griping on these forums for the past couple of weeks about not being able to hit my numbers or have any kind of consistent effeciency on my new cooler tun set up.

Last week I brewed and I hit 1.055 og. It was right what I wanted to hit. I brewed the exact same mash bill yesterday and I hit 1.056. Close enough to work with

    Thanks for the help!

To what do you attribute your newfound success? Also, what was your efficiency?

I used a different sparge method that should be something I can replicate every time. I drain the tun slowly then add the sparge water. Stir, let sit for 10 minutes then drain slowly again. I hit 72% efficiency.

As a 27 year old, you will likely live 50 more years unless you succumb to premature cirrhosis or get eaten by a gator. Take whatever you would have spent on tin foil, aspirin and dry wall per year times 50. Don't forget to include inflation. Then consider various global economic apocalypse scenarios. Recalculate. It turns out, I just saved you $872,457 in today's dollars!

I will gladly accept half that in today's value of bitcoins right here.

You gotta add in hogs, pirouge accidents while running trotlines on the Mississippi, grease fires, crawfish boil accidents, cattle stampedes, and brain eating Amoeba from the hundreds of lbs of raw oysters i eat. I'll be lucky if I make it to 30. Thankfully momma taught me that football is the devils game.

    Do you take dogecoin?

I will admit to not considering the risk of deadly crawfish boil and pirouge fatalities. However, I can tell you have a zest for life and are far too capable to experience these unfortunate regional demise scenarios. After further consideration, my original lifetime cost savings for you has been reduced to $578,455.

The way I see it, you currently owe me $19,841. I'll accept that in bitcoin, gold, Euros or US dollars.
