Been trying to update several local breweries beer listings by retiring ones that are retired and merge duplicate listings. My updates go through in most cases, but for Summit Brewing, they never do. I have submitting updates on their beers over the last 18 months, and their beers never get updated. An example being trying to merge Abbey Ale and Summit Belgian Style Abbey Ale. The same beer but they have never been merged even after a half dozen update requests. And the beer is retired and those requests never getting implemented. What is the reason I cannot update this brewery?

There is a backlog of beers to be deleted or merged and a very limited number of staff who can handle such changes.

I don't think that is it. The updates I submitted for August Schell last night, have gone through already. Summit does not ever get updated. There is another brewery that is the same thing but I cannot think of it right now.

    Omnium and OldhouseRecs like this.

I see it has been updated. Thanks.

Is there a reason updates don't go through for certain breweries.

There are Site Editors like myself who can process requests such as Name Change, Style Change, ABV Change, Retired, etc. However, we cannot merge, delete, or move beers to other breweries. Such requests must wait for The Bros. to process them.

The time required is not related to the brewery.
