I opened a bottle from the latest batch tonight and it was flat. I checked the reviews, but doesnt look like anyone has reviewed the latest batch yet. I figured a few of you guys have had it though and was curious if anyone else has gotten a flat bottle?

The samples I had at the Sour Fest were great with no carbonation problems at all. I haven't opened a bottle at home yet though.

Usually it's the other way around with those Uplands... though didn't they hold back this batch of Persimmon because of (lack of) carbonation issues?

My understanding is that with the seeded fruits, they've been working on finding ways to keep carbonation (explosions) down. For instance, the last batch of Kiwi wasn't a gusher because the kiwis were kept whole when tossed in.

Maybe they have tried to de-seed the berries recently without making other adjustments and this has led to some issues? This is absolutely something that I'd like to hear more about. If you email Caleb, I'm sure he'll give you information. If that happens, it would be great information to have on this thread.

I cracked a blackberry from the latest batch and it had the normal carbonation level. I have a couple more, will let you know if any more are flat.

Well hopefully it was just a fluke then and that the bottle I just traded is sufficiently carbed.
