    Hey Gang,

I need any feedback you can provide around the latest release of Upland's lambics. I'm looking at reviews but most of them seem to related to previous years vintages. I'm looking for any feedback around any lambics varieties you're tasted from THIS year's release. I'd like to acquire a couple via trade but before pursuing wanted to get some imput. Thanks for your comments!

Which variants are you wondering about? They are all awesome lambics, but I think some are definitely better than others.

    Here's how I'd rate them:

    Blueberry
    Kiwi
    Raspberry
    Persimmon
    Blackberry
    Peach
    Strawberry

My order would be a little different:

    Kiwi
    Blackberry
    Cherry
    Peach
    Blueberry
    Raspberry
    Persimmon
    Strawberry

However, it was really tough to rank them. All are excellent Lambics.

Also, I'd like to note that the most recent batches have all been significantly better than any past batches. It took a few attempts to get their Lambics perfected, but they've definitely learned how to make world class fruited Lambics.

The more recent batches are definitely more sour than they used to be. The first few batches were sweeter and didn't change a whole lot with age. These new ones definitely have more acidity.

I have opened cherry, raspberry and strawberry bottles from end of last year. I thought Cherry and Raspberry were super acidic and sour so much so that the fruit flavors took a backseat, but the Strawberry seemed a divine mix of fruit and sour to me. I was at upland Sour and Funk fest, and tried everything that day. From my tasting that day I would say:

    Kiwi
    Blackberry
    Strawberry
    Peach
    Blueberry
    Raspberry
    Cherry
    Persimmion

But just because Persimmon is at the bottom does not mean it wasn't excellent. I wish I had a cellar full of all of em, but if I had to rank them after a side-by-side, i think this is close.

I've opened Peach and Persimmon from the most recent lottery and Strawberry from the round before and all are drinking really great right now. I had Persimmon from a previous batch and the current batch seems to be tastier and much more sour than the first one. They're definitely worth trading for.

Anyone have any feedback on how the '10 Kiwi may compare to the '13 Kiwi?
