Upland Persimmon Loerik?

    In the spirit of speculation and unnamed sources, I was told that there were bottles produced of said beer, and that they were given to certain employees. I was then told that they were forced to promise that it would never be taken to any tasting whether public or private. Rumor, from the same source, also said that its absolutely delicious but 100% flat.

    The Persimmon that Cari opened was from the previous batch I believe.

    wow, so from fall 2011? how'd the persimmon hold up? my friend and i opened a bottle of blackberry over lunch at the brewery this past weekend; it was super tasty, but a lot of the fruit had faded out

    I always had the understanding that the first round was soured in the second use Pappy barrels originally used for Warmer.

    Cari confirmed that the 2009 WW was Pappy. So, the barrels did exist...
