I feel like I've won the leg lamp...not quite sure what to do with it. May attend personally, may use a proxy...got lots of questions. Is there anyone here that also won the lottery and could share their strategy...which location is more fun? Have you tried the beers or will this be the first time they're available? Any shot at sampling some of the previous offerings when I go to pickup(I'm looking at you, Paw Paw)?

Any info on the subject would be great if you guys will share.

    Cheers,
    Matt

I've picked up a few times at the Indianapolis location. They had a couple IPAs and a porter on draft if I recall correctly but not really much else. I had a beer and left with my bottles.

OP, there are a plethora of Upland lottery threads. Grab a cub of coffee.

If you want to sample sours, Bloomington is probably where you want to go. The retail spot in Indianapolis is extremely small and doesn't have a huge selection. In Bloomington, you can at least hit The Wood Shop which is essentially their sour bar.

For this offering - Sour Reserve is usually good stuff. Strawberry is good, but drink it fresh. The rest I have no real opinion on.

Will start looking thank you. I was informed by the mods that this was moved into this forum. Initially I searched and posted in the Midwest one, so that's probably why I only got search hits about trading them.

I think you'd be crazy to make the pilgrimage here for the Upland sour lottery pick-up, but obviously what you do is inconsequential to me...

If you do plan to visit, go to the Bloomington location so you can hit the Wood Shop (as @macewank mentioned). Plus Bloomington in general is a fantastic place...
