Upland Strawberry Lambic anyone had this recently? If so, how is it holding up? If you can say when you popped the bottle and what you thoughts were; that would be great. Not looking for a full blown review, but a little bit of details would go along way! (like the high points and low points of the beer) Ya know what I mean??? Thanks for any information you guys can provide!

    Cheers! B

Yeah, would be very interesting to know how those have turned out. Complete gushers is more what I meant when I used the term exploding. I haven't heard of bottles actually blowing up.

I am not sure which lambic it is, but around 2010-2011 I think that there we some problems with Upland lambic bottles actually exploding in cellars... I would need verification of what fruit lambic it was...

Just make sure you hold a huge salad bowl under the beer when u open it or Ur 750ml will only yield you a 4oz pour :-( and ull be cleaning the carpets the next day!

I have found that making sure they are extra chilled has also helped alleviate some of problem as well.

Be careful, we just opened up 2012 Vine and it was a bit of a gusher, most likely was too warm.

My 2010 blackberry practically exploded when I loosened the cork. We lost 1/3 the bottle due to a "mega gushing" -- it was like an erupting volcano.
