I really enjoyed it the last couple years. Wasn't sure I was free and feel a little dirty giving money to GBH, so I decided not to get tickets. But, the beers are always awesome. Cool that Burial is gonna be there!
I took a pass this year bits just too expensive. I went the last 2 years and had a great time, but between my 5 other friends that went, we can do so many other things for $400 and have a much better time that doesn’t need to be crammed into 3 hours and then pay for food additionally.
It looks like it would be fun, but between ticket, metra, uber, and food it's a $100 day. Just isn't worth it, especially since I really don't like coffee on its own
Yeah. Seems like maybe a bad time if you don’t like coffee. But on the other hand. I’ll be there. Isn’t that worth 40-100 dollars?
Sure, but if we pool our money, we could have a better time for half that amount. Again. I had a lot of fun the last 2 years, but another major issue I had, was that while a lot of the beers were interesting, “only” 10 or so were something cool/special, and by the end I was just drinking BCS, because it’s usually the best beer available. A coffee Kolsch or kettle sour is cool once.
