I can tell you that this year both sessions will have the identical beers. And that the details will be shared as soon as possible.
This event is cool, but I just can’t justifydling it more than once, especially with 4 or 5 friends. For $500 combined, we can have a much better time doing a lot of other activities in the city instead of just drink coffee beers for 2.5 hours.
I’ve gone every year, and I’ve found it to be a high quality and enjoyable event. There’s always a good mix of standard coffee beers and really interesting one-offs across a wide variety of styles. I’m really into coffee, and beer, so it all kind of clicks for me. The espresso choices are great, and it’s fun to talk coffee with some really knowledgeable people. It’s also one of the few “fests” (it’s really more of a curated special tasting event) that my wife will go to, so that makes it fun for me too. As for the cost, it was $150 for our 2 tickets - not cheap by any means, but we usually spend more than that on date night dinners. And a drop in the bucket compared to what I spend at breweries and beer stores.
It's that time of year again. Does anyone know if it's the same scenario as last year where both sessions are poring the same beer? I was caught off guard last year by how many kegs were kicked relatively early in the session. I've always been somewhat casual about making my way around the room, but I think I need to go in with a game plan this year...
As far as I know it'll be the same beers both sessions minus the couple breweries who bring 2 different beers. I think Goose brings two different beers but that's about it.
As long as Cruz Blanca is there again, I’m in. Their station was worth circling by multiple times. I had three pours of the banana Rey Gordo! I enjoyed this event a lot (as a first time last year) and hope to go back this year. Really chill and not very crowded.

Soooooooo like ummmmm there’s gonna be some wacky stuff at U&D this year. But you didn’t hear that from me.
good beer hunting on the twitter is posting the beer list. it does look like there is some variation between sessions but not much. I saw Dino s'mores with sump coffee, bcs 16 and 17 coffee(and more recent stuff), few lagers as well.
This is the best beer list in the 3 years I’ve been involved. We allowed breweries to bring non-coffee beers as well as a coffee beer so there’s some bangers on the list like Hop Butcher Tavern Cut and a cranberry Grisette from Brewery Bhavana.
