Upright Blend Love Release

    I hadn't had this brew before and I am embarrassed to say as a portland resident for twenty years that I hadn't been to Upright before today. I rolled down with my three yearl old feisty pants daughter and was greeted by a swarm of friendly folk. Some who worked there, some who were there to drink beer. Great place. As a guy who takes, sometimes drags, his little girl anywhere, I was happy with the easy vibe and the warm reception.

    Blend Love is a tasty, fruity, slightly sour beer. The barrel comes through but not as much as I had hoped. It will be fun to taste this every 3 months for a while. I enjoyed the hell out of it and bought my share. I also picked up a Gose.....looking forward to that tomorrow.

    Cool place. Really tasty beer.

    Any idea if they still had the anniversary saison and white truffle gose? Been meaning to get out there for a bit.

    No Anniversary bottles as of last weekend(?), maybe two weekends ago. Gose is still there. I heard Jeax D'eau finally sold out yesterday.

    Love is great this year, my favorite yet! In other news, that Kolsch that was pouring was phe-NOM-en-al.
