    Imaginary???
You have to drive over a ditch and through Vantucky (err now Vansterdam), there is nothing Imaginary about it!

I grew up in Battle Ground; I'm intimately familiar with Hazel Dell, The Couve (not to be confused with cuvee), etc.

Why is there a thread about an Oregon beer release in the Great Lakes forum?

Hey all, my wife took me to Portland for my birthday this weekend and I just noticed this thread. It says the bottle release is 1-6pm, if I get there around 3-4pm, will I not be able to get any bottles? Either way we'll be there Saturday but I would love to grab a bottle if possible. Stoked to check out the city!

No way to know for sure, but based on past experiences, I'd say it's likely. The times I've gone to bottle releases at Upright, they typically are not over-run with a lot of folks.

    I don't think you'll have a problem since there's a 3 bottle limit. Fantasia lasted a couple days.

This. There is more hype about Fantasia and even though there were ALOT of people for this past Fantasia release, bottles lasted a few days. With the same limit and the fact that nobody has had this beer (outside the brewery), I would imagine this lasts at least the weekend.

But then again, the ORegon mule game has been running rampant as of late

    :grinning:

Line was surprisingly long at open. Kudos to Upright for handling it extremely well. They accommodated everyone extremely quickly. Jealous of Sole Composition bottle share  Which one was it? Kudos to everyone in line - no cutting always friendly.

I arrived at about 2, and there was no line at all. Got my 3 bottles and bounced.

Maybe we need a few Floridians to move here to liven things up a bit. (not)

I picked up a couple bottles yesterday, and enjoyed chatting with some folks who were making their first visit to Upright (a young couple from South Carolina and a South African gent). The David Bowie playlist was a treat too.

Side note: I thought the saison/cider blend was delicious.

Had such a blast at Upright! My wife and I have never been and chatted with a bunch of cool people. Love the quaint feel of the place.

I like how you have to dive deep into the bowels of a coffee shop/gym/crack lab to even find the entrance to Upright. They should have a fireman's pole directly into it from the coffee shop.
