Have any of you ever worked with a UPS or FedEx account manager (aka sales rep)? I had an issue come up that I couldn't get customer service to resolve. They escalated and a few days later I got a call from "the representative for my city". Extremely nice individual to deal with and according to her, all accounts have a rep somewhere (but even she admitted they aren't always easy to get to). So anyway, I worked with her on a discounted rate for my shipments. Yes, it's better than what's available on the Internet. I'll see if it was worth going through but glad I did it so my rare collectibles will be shipped at a better rate for the time I took to do this Hoping this idea might help some of you that do higher volumes as the discounting is structured based on spend, weight and use of electronic labels.
