UPS - When is an account flagged?

That sucks, but at least they called you and let you pick it up, it could have been a dozen Cantiloons that were confiscated never to be seen again outside their supervisor's fridge!

 

I'm cracking up at the vision of some Junior VP getting reamed out over a 40% increase in breakage while he tries to defend himself talking about Dark Lords and whales.

Interestingly, these UPS breakage audits are probably the most accurate numbers for the growth of the high-end craft beer market that we have. Now we just need to get the numbers for the last few years and we can start projecting the growth of our whale values with some pretty good accuracy.

 

I think some sorting facilities have started scanning packages as well, and a box full of bottles is suspicious. I travel a lot for work and often pack some bottles in my luggage. Everytime I pack 5 or more bottles, sure enough my luggage is searched by TSA. Fortunately have stolen anything yet!
