Upshift Brewing closing, Sugar Monkey Brewing taking over the space

That’s a bummer. Although I must admit, I’ve lived in LA for 20 years and never heard of them

 

That makes two of us, I’ve never heard of Sugar Monkey either.

 

I had to do a google search on that one too, didn’t find anything so I’m wondering if one of the people there is spinning off their own brand and using the space.

 

Yes, it’s a little confusing. If you look at Todd’s post above, the guy from Upshift says that Sugar Monkey makes “tasty brews“, so it seems like he’s had their beers, but I’m with you, nothing beer related comes up on a search for Sugar Monkey.

 

I just looked and there is an IG page for Sugar Monkey, but no posts, info, photos, nothing.
