Urban Family Update

I like their beer, but I rarely ever see it available around the city outside the brewery.

 

It's been popping up at PDX bottle shops recently, haven't tried any myself.

 

I've been wanting to try that. Is it worth the price ($11 dollers at the only store I can find it so far)?

 

Stopped by the new location last night for the first time and really dug everything I tried. Even though i was bummed that 4 out of the 6 beers on tap were hoppy beers (I love hoppy beers but that's too heavy an amount for only six handles IMO) I left vowing to visit often. If the brews are consistently as good as what I had last night then I imagine I'm going to rank them right up there with the other elite Seattle breweries.

 

Well, it was worth the $5 I paid for a 16-ounce glass. I'm not sure I'd pay $11 for a bomber or 750, though.

 

I see a ton of their stuff on the shelves here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. From what Ive tried they've been solid beers.

 

Looks like they're releasing a BBA stout with coffee and vanilla beans in a week. Anyone have more info on them?

 

I had this on draft at Burgundian a while back. Good but kinda thin.

 

I visited their new place in late summer, parking the bicycle in the back. LOTS of barrels in your face, acting as a wall on the west side. Nice vibe there, and decent beers. Thanks for the post, I've got to get back there soon.

 

Delusions of Grandeur IPA is really really good. Really unique and different from most NW IPAs you will find.
