Really liked this one a lot.

I dig what Urban Roots does with their lager portfolio. I hope they continue the Mellowwood series for the foreseeable future.

I've seen these guys several times at Windsor but didn't pull the trigger for a long time. Finally tried Geeks of The Industry, I'm a sucker for a great baltic porter. Hot Dogs Are Sandwiches was pretty good, currently have All The Way Up in my fridge and I'm eager to try it. Windsor has had 10° quite a few times and I'll have to get it next time I see it.

Theyre a brewery that I'll pretty much try anything from. Just so clean and well put together

Yeah, they are pretty good/solid across many different styles. Saison of course. Lagers/Pilsners, Stouts, IPAs, Barrel Program. They just don't get the hype, but that is ok, more for the smaller group I guess.

Taplist is pretty eclectic right now. Runs the gamut. BBA Scotch Ale, BBA Imperial Stout ...all the way to Lager... https://www.urbanrootsbrewing.com/home

Are the Mellowwood beers brewery-only, or do they see any distribution?

We occasionally get a few Urban Roots beers up here in Portland, and I've really enjoyed the ones I've tried.

Following up a blind pig with a pleasant surprise of Like Riding A Bike and it is a damn fine clear IPA as usual. Really wish we saw some more Urban Roots around my parts

Mellowwood Maibock got some limited distro in the Sacramento area. Final Gravity and a few other bottle shops. Not sure if it got as far as PDX?

I dropped by last Thursday night. While none of the beers I had were particularly amazing this time around, the place was definitely hopping. The most lively place I've been to since Covid hit. Inside and outside were fairly packed. They are keeping later hours that most of the breweries too. This may be my new stock up for the weekend place until more breweries catch up to their old hours.

UR "Comfort Hamster" - Unfiltered Rustic Pilsner featuring Ariana and Calista hops.

    This one was real good.

Just picked up the Comfort Hamster today, there are always good finds at Windsor. I was super excited they still had some.

Recently had Travelers Welcome 2 and 3 back to back, both were quite good. Referencing my last post, my impression of All The Way Up was quite positive. After several positive experiences now, I'm on the lookout for anything Urban Roots and Windsor always seems to have at least one thing of theirs in stock.

Now I just need to get my hands on 10°...

I did see Mellowwood up here in Portland and picked one up about a year ago, so hopefully we'll see the new version as well. Saw the 10 at the store last week and almost grabbed it. Might have to rectify that this week if it's still there. Upstanding Distribution brings them up here periodically.

Had to go into the office today, so popped in for some brisket tacos and cans of Mellowwood. Decided to bring home some Comfort Hamster cans too...perfect for the Fn heat coming up.

So.... UR has a new Munich Style Helles LAGER out. Shocker, it's good.

Hell is a brand new Munich Style Helles lager featuring Barke® Pilsner malt and Hallertau Mittlefrüh hops with soft crisp malt characteristics and a clean snappy finish. This beer was lagered for 90 days (twice as long as EZPZ)

With temps at 100, good at the lake as well.....

Had Comfort Hamster the other night and it was delightful, so UR is officially a "if I see it, grab it" brewery to me.

Grabbed Guy, Gals and Non-Binary Pals and Like Riding A Bike on my last Windsor outing, should be having those pretty soon and I'm excited to try 'em.

Still keeping my eyes peeled for 10°.

Another iteration of their Isolate series is out. Mosaic this time, easily my favorite of the ones I've tried thus far. Previously really enjoyed the Simcoe and, to lesser extent, Citra batches. But this is 'head and shoulders' above those for my palate and preferences.

The Hell is fucking outrageously good. I can imagine that's why Peter put his name on the label. @vurt , @John_M, if you like a rustic helles lager, mosey on over to Beermongers pronto.

Would love to try it. Hopefully it will still be on tap Sunday, as currently am up in the Seattle area. Drinking a glass of ba Vietnamese Speedway at the Parkway Tavern. The added bourbon is almost too much of good thing in this beer ( but I think I can still choke it down).

There's cans available at John's too, which is closer to you. It wasn't on tap at Mongers
