I've never seen them can it, draught or crowler are likely the only options.

I think I died and went to Lager heaven!!! Outstanding Octoberfest draft list at Urban Roots this weekend!

Left to right: Mellowwood Festbier (Urban Roots), Pleasant Pils (Highland Park Brewing), Helles (Biersdadt), Oktoberfest (Bierstadt), Hell (Wayfinder), Party Time Pils (Wayfinder), and Freiheit! (Wayfinder).

Biersdadt Helles and Oktoberfest stole the show!

I don't know if you died, but you did make it to lager heaven. It looks beautiful there. See if you can save us a table

When you get to lager heaven, let us know what you think of pFriem and Chuckanut...

Wow they got Bierstadt. I think they would steal the lager show of any brewery outside of Europe. Their Slow Pour Pils is the best American lager I've ever had.

It was fantastic! It had a sweet, honey caramel malty and hint of vanilla bourbon barrel nose for me...and the taste followed with a clean and balanced, caramel malty and mildly hoppy finish. I was impressed with the great use of barrel on this...my first time drinking a barrel lagered festbier. Good Stuff!

Really enjoyed Zwanze Day at Urban Roots. Very well organized, large space indoors and out just for the event attendees (barrel room and the side yard outside the barrel room), very relaxed event. Added bonus being able to get Wayfinder and Bierstadt lagers as well, even if the Slow Pour Pils took two hours since they ran out of glasses. Great beer and food, super chill atmosphere. Would absolutely go to another event there.

Anyone know whether UR can be found in or around Santa Cruz?

If you are going to be visiting Santa Cruz, you'd best let me know. Lupulo sometimes has UR on tap, and for bottles you could check Beer Thirty.

Got down to Urban Roots this weekend. Great beer and food. Pulled pork and the Brisket were outstanding.

"Point of Difference" (Collab with Green Creek) Hazy Triple IPA was excellent. Had the big hit of Citra, then that Softness from GC. Very drinkable for a triple at 10%. Maybe the best Hazy I have had from UR. Reminded me a little of Fieldwork DDH Pulp (All citra as well).

Also had the "2 Places at Once" Green Cheek (Collab with UR) Czech Pilsner. Excellent as well. Crisp and clean. Saaz hops. Could drink this on the daily.

Unfortunately they were out of the "Mellowwood Festbier" Oaked Aged Lager on tap..... but they still had a few cans left.

Hit the spot. You get a slight bit of the wood with the malt n hops. Went down quick. Very Good.

There is one untappd check in of a can from Cap Tap in Sac. But it is not on their inventory page yet. http://www.capitolbeer.com/the-beers/in-the-shop/

I am guessing other Bottle Shops will post if they got it in or not by Friday evening or Saturday.

Draft only (not sure on crowlers). Cans were supposed to get into the distro pipeline though.

So far this seems to be the only local can sighting locale, at least that I've seen.
