I know this is about breweriana but its specifically in reference to trades.

Is it inappropriate to include a used (but well cleaned) glass as an extra?

Furthermore, if you received glassware but were told that it was used, would you mind?

I'm not afraid of the glassware when I go to a bar to get a drink, and I probably wash my glassware at home more thoroughly than a bar, particularly before first use.

I'm pretty sure you aren't getting a brand new glass when you have something to drink at a bar or restaurant. I don't really see any difference as long as the glass is in good shape.

Just wash it before you send it. With soap.

    I guess I wouldn't mind getting one but I certainly wouldn't send a glass I had used.

I wouldn't care if it showed up dirty, after-all, we're talking about an extra right?

I've sent out used glass before but I tell the trader and of course wash it, just so they aren't assuming it's brand new from the brewery or whatever. This tends to happen with TH stemware bc I keep giving mine away to people since the brewery sells out all the time.

I've sent two glasses too two very nice traders, new never used. I have a ton of cool glasses and I like them as we'll or better than what goes into them. I have a nice HF glass I'll add someday depends on the ba.

Define used. I'm sending a Teku to a CA buddy that is "used", but I've never drunk from it.

There are a few breweries out here that sell glasses out of their onsite consumption pool when quantities get low. al least it's freshly washed
