Using a Dupont Mash Schedule

    I was just reading about the mash schedule used for Saison Dupont:. 113°F (45°C) mash-in, gradually raised to 162°F (72°C) over more than 90 minutes. Curious if anyone else has tried a mash schedule like this and what the results were.

    I think you'd need a RIMS or HERMS system to do a smooth gradual, ramp up.

    Just curious, where are you getting your mash temp info for Saison Dupont? I've never been able to find anything credible, i.e. not embedded in an article along with other stuff that's clearly nonsense, casting doubt on the whole thing, IMO.
