My wife and I are in New Orleans for the weekend and we visited the famous Cafe Dú Monde last night. Their coffee is extremely famous and I see why. It was very good. With that being said, I've had the itch to make an imperial stout and thought about incorporating this coffee into the beer. However, the coffee comes ground already. Is it ok to use grounds in a fine mesh bag in the secondary? What are basic guides to how much coffee to add per 5 gallons, (I know it also depends on how much coffee flavor one is going for). Oh and has anyone ever used this coffee? I think I'm going to buy several cans of this!
    Thanks and cheers!

Yes. But keep in mind that pre-ground coffee won't taste as fresh as whole beans. Maybe make a cup of it and see if it tastes the way you remember from the Café.
