I am brewing a saison (wyeast 3711) that I want to split 5gal normal and 1gal with Brett C dregs along with 3711. I only have one bottle. Is it worth my time?

Just one bottle of dregs will give me some Brett funk?

Yes, if you leave it long enough.

You could build up the dregs with 200ml of starter. That should increase viability and reduce the time needed to get some funk.

Damn. Too late. How long should i let it sit (only one gallon)

I've been eyeing this beer a lot lately at my local beer store, but can't seem to come to grips with the price tag. If I can get a good starter going with the brett dregs though, it might be worth it. Let us know how it turns out for your saison!

With that small of an amount (dregs from 1 bottle), it might be a while... even for 1 gallon. Only hydrometer readings will tell.

I'd give it a month before taking a small sample. Since 3711 should have left a really low FG you probably won't see much (if any) drop but check it more for smell/taste. Let us know how it goes!
