It's interesting to see the differing opinions. I almost exclusively use FedEx and I've never had a single problem with them, whereas with UPS, I've had broken items (glassware), and later than promised ship dates (by more than just a day). Either way, it would be nice to see the USPS jump into the mix and have it be "ok". I'm tired of shipping snow-globes and lava lamps.

So when you use fed ex, do you use a certain kind of box so they have no clue it is beer?

I've had the same problem with UPS over the years. I know this isn't going to make some happy on here what I'm about to say, but UPS is a bunch of union workers who are protected. Whereas with FedEx drivers, and correct me if I'm wrong, work on annual contracts that are negotiated each year. So FedEx drivers tend to be a bit easier with the packages.

ups and fed ex are not allowed to open you package unless they see material leaking out of it (like liquid from a broken bottle) USPS on the other hand can open any package they want at anytime they want to check the contents wich is why I never use them .

Not really, I tend to use boxes from shipments of computer parts, pack really tight, bubble wrap, styro, popcorn, whatever it takes to keep it all from moving, and full of enough stuff that absorbs the sound, that half the time you can't even hear it sloshing at all. I've yet to be questioned when shipping FedEx (knock on wood), but UPS asks more often than not, and that is why I ship lots of snow globes and lava-lamps!

What was originally about USPS (the topic) is now turning into a discussion about FedEx and UPS... gonna close this one down.
