It is NORMALLY every other year, but since 2012 is the 10th anniversary there will be a batch produced. I have the full vertical so I will definitely be after a bottle or two.
they are pretty readily available. the main problem is the mark up. locally by me they are going for $250 a bottle and just collecting dust. if i want to travel about an hour and stay in state, i can save $50. i did eventually find someone who had it available at MSRP of $150 and sent cost and a small box of wants. i've had it and it is pretty tasty and unique. hard to put a price on a beer like that since it is one that can be opened and sealed and opened again and again and "should" stand the test of time. i got a 2011 since i plan to age it for 21 years for obvious reasons (possibly pop it open once per year for an ounce). i would definitely be interested in a bottle of the 2012 if i can find it at MSRP. definitely available though, just a question on markup.
