I'm being forced to a wedding in VA Beach in early February and I wasn't sure if there were any good places to buy beers in or near there. Appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!
Grape and Gourmet is my favorite place to shop for beer in Va Beach. But there is also a newly rebuilt Total Wine in the Hilltop area that has a huge beer section with a great selection.
I like that Whole Foods has a nice rotating tap selection and growlers but their bottled beer section is very weak considering how close they are to that monster Total Wine. I mean I know beer isn't Whole Foods focus but when you are a hundred yards from a store that carries pretty much every beer that gets distro'd here, they aren't in the same league.
Alright, cool. I'll check out all those spots. I'm coming up from Raleigh, so we have 4 Total Wines down here, but I'll be interested to see what VA carries in there that they don't have here in NC. Thanks for all the help!
